Birmingham City University was once divided into five different collages which later combined in 1971 as The City of Birmingham Polytechnic. The five colleges are Birmingham College of Art commerce, Birmingham School of Music, Birmingham College of Commerce, South Birmingham Technical College, and North Birmingham Technical College. One of these colleges has been established in 1843. This means that the history of the university is as old as the history of these collages and plays an important role in the popularity of the institute.

Fees for International Students:

Their annual tuition covers regular tuition, exam fees, and student union membership. Non-EU students have higher prices because the university does not receive external funding from the UK government.

Tuition payment option: Tuition is paid annually for the course and must be paid at or before admission. We offer the following payment options:

  • Full payment: Full payment before or at enrollment is subject to an immediate payment discount of £300. This discount applies to the scholarship or the amount paid after the award is deducted from the tuition.
  • Two instalments: If you pay in two instalments, 50% should be paid upon registration, and an invoice will be issued for your balance. If you enrol in the course in September and start studying in January, you will have to pay the balance on January 31 or April 30.
  • Payment by sponsor: If the sponsors are paying tuition, they will need the original letterhead to see how much they are paying.
